What this trip is
Eight days is long enough to cross Bali properly. You start inland among the subak terraces above Ubud, walk a ridge at first light, then move east to a stretch of coast where the reef starts a few metres from the sand.
Groups stay under twelve. Guides are Balinese and live in the villages you pass through.

The itinerary
Airport pickup and the drive north through Sukawati. The rest of the day is yours — most people walk into town and eat early.
